Inaugural gymnastics challenge set to light up Perth
- Updated: January 7, 2013
THE Dreamlight Perth International Gymnastics Challenge will take place at the State Gymnastics Centre in January.
Staged from Friday, January 25 to Sunday, January 27, Gymnastics Australia says the challenge will be an exciting addition to the 2013 Gymnastics WA calendar.
The inaugural event will feature Australian Junior International WAG gymnasts in a tri-nation duel with South Africa and New Zealand.
GA says this will be a unique event combining great gymnastics skills and spectator fun including a special event Photobooth, which will provide opportunities to be photographed alongside several of the current Australian Senior International gymnasts.
At the completion of both sessions, there will be autograph opportunities with the WA Senior International gymnasts, as well as a special team signing (with all the Australian, South African and New Zealand Junior teams) following the Sunday competition.
Tickets are available from local GWA clubs or via the event website – but book early as these are selling fast.
Come and support the future stars of Australian gymnastics, following in the footsteps of world champion Lauren Mitchell and fellow Olympians Emily Little, Olivia Vivian and Allana Slater.
